Construction Manager

An innovative project and construction management firm is looking for driven individuals to serve as construction managers for its diversified, national portfolio. Ideal candidates must have the experience to represent owners – often Fortune 500 companies – in managing the process of creating new facilities. Work involves managing architects, consultants and general contractors to keep projects on time and budget – all while upholding the best interests of the client. Maintaining outstanding customer service relationships are essential.

 

Project Solutions Group, Inc. (PSG) has overseen more than 11,000,000 SF of new construction and interior renovation projects for commercial offices, retail and hospitality venues, laboratories, call centers and data centers. PSG’s involvement with our public and private sector clients begins as early as pre-leasing and site selection to well beyond the move into their new space.

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 

·          Program Development

·          Budget Formulation and Monitoring

·          Planning and Design Management

·          Project Scheduling, Development and Oversight

·          Team Management and Conflict Resolution

·          Contractor, Vendor and Supplier Management and Coordination

·          Customer Service

·          Project Implementation Oversight

·          Project Close Out

 

Requirements:

 

·          Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, interior design or construction management

·          One to ten years of previous construction management experience

·          Superior interpersonal and communications skills

·          Proficiency with computers

·          Ability to manage multi-million dollar projects

·          US Citizen

Facility Manager

An independent project/construction management firm is seeking Facility professionals for growing facility management division. These positions are located in the Washington DC and in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan areas. These positions will manage all aspects of facility services at the client site and/or from the Herndon, Virginia, based corporate headquarters.

Responsibilities include:

  • Real estate planning and management Lease administration
  • Strategic planning and long term goals
  • Space planning relocation management
  • Preventative maintenance and repair safety and code compliance (OSHA, ADA)
  • Managing outsourced services and vendors
  • Manage tenant improvements and capitol projects
  • Records management budgeting
